this little princess

was a little nervous to stick her toes in the sand,

and she was not quite game to get them wet

but she soon forgot her fears

and danced with joy,

soaked up the sunshine

and the love between her and her mummy

beamed across the beach for all to see

xoxo

my life is a little like this

quiet

then busy

but not entirely exclusive of each other

like work might be quiet

but both the kids and I will get a horrid gastric virus in the same weekend

and it will be the same weekend that husband is overseas

or

work will be really busy with three shoots over the same weekend

and the kids and husband will happily play and watch rugby and

spend hours boxing each other vicariously through the wii.

so it has been all that and more of the same for us of late

that is just life

it is important to just embrace it and love it – whatever form it comes in.

Now a little for my fellow photogs and all things digital designery lovin’ friends…

the lovely store and blog Design Aglow

are running an awesome competition to win a

$250 shopping spree in their online store

head over to their facebook page for more information.

Another reason why i love Design Aglow so much

is that one of my images was selected to appear on their

Newborn Photography Posing Cards

wheeeeeeeeee!

this was a while ago, I am late in getting this exciting news out there

but like I said – the quiet and the busy get in the way sometimes!

so this is my badge for that:

and some iPhone photos of the quiet and the busy of late

because posts without photos are boring:)

i am single parenting this week

husband is gallivanting overseas with all his friends from school

it is his 20 year school reunion

not sure which bothers me more….

that he is playing with his friends while I take care of the house and kids

or

that i am married to someone that has been out of school for twenty years

holy smoke how did that happen

in my head we only left school, like, um, four years ago

we are not nearly old enough to be that old yet.

was going through some photos I took at the end of last year

and got to playing with my new blogging templates from

storyboardrocks

and i loved these photos of my boys

playing in the rain

happy wednesday everyone

xoxo
